Lita Rossana Ford She was a British-born American singer, guitarist, and music writer. In the latter part of the 70s, she was a guitarist in the hard rocking all-girl group The Runaways. The group wasn't successful in their home country of the United States, it gained enormous popularity overseas. Ford's solo metal career had a great success following the group break-up. She started taking voice lessons followed by her first album "Out for Blood" which was followed by "Dancin" in the Edge. Ford did not achieve anything with either of them and remained out of the realm of rock for around 10 years. Her smashing hit, 'Lita was released in 1989. Kiss Me Deadly, and Close My Eyes Forever both quickly became huge hit. Sadly, her fame was brief and she disappeared from the music industry for several decades. The album's release Black in 1995 was followed by a 15-year wait for 'Wicked Wonderland. The year was 2016, and her latest album, 'Timecapsule', was made available. Guitar Player Magazine gave her The Certified Guitar Legend Award.
