Lita Rossana Ford (also known as Lita Ford) is an British born American guitarist who was as the lead vocalist of The Runaways a female hard rock group from the 1970s. They gained attention for their provocative lyrics and punkish style. The group wasn't popular in their home country of the United States, it gained immense popularity in the world. Ford embarked on a heavy-metal solo career following the band's was disbanded in 1979. She took voice lessons and recorded her first solo album 'Out for Blood followed by 'Dancin' on the Edge. Ford vanished for some years from the music scene as the two albums failed to draw much attention. Her biggest hit, 'Lita' was released in the year 1989. Kiss Me Deadly was a big hit, as were the ballad Close My Eyes Forever and Kiss Me Deadly. The popularity of her was short-lived, and she disappeared for a couple of years. The release of Black in 1995 was followed by a fifteen-year delay for the album 'Wicked Wonderland. "Time Capsule," her debut album "Time Capsule" was made available by her in the year 2016.
