Lita Rossana Ford is popularly referred to as Lita Ford, is a British American musician, songwriter and guitarist who was the lead guitarist of the all-girl hard rock band The Runaways in the late 1970s.Their rock-star sound and raucous lyrics helped them get noticed in the rock world. The band didn't have much of a following within the United States. However, their popularity grew overseas and especially in Japan. Ford had a long and prosperous career as a solo heavy metal musician after the group broke up from 1979. In 1995, she dropped "Black," and 15 years later , 'Wicked Wonderland. In 2016, her latest album, 'Time Capsule, was released.
