Lita Rossana Ford She was born in the United Kingdom and was an American singer, guitarist as well as writer. In the late 70s she was the lead guitarist for the hard-rocking all-girl group The Runaways. The group wasn't popular in The United States, it gained immense popularity in the world. Ford started a metal solo career after the band was disbanded in 1979. She started taking voice lessons before releasing her debut album "Out for Blood" which was followed by "Dancin" on the Edge.
