Luciana Paoluzzi as well as Maria Rota Paoluzzi were raised in Rome. Luciana Paoluzzi is the daughter of Manlio Paoluzzi (an Italian military officer) and Maria Rota Paoluzzi (a mistress to Benito Mussolini). It is not known if she had having siblings. Luciana is the sole woman who has graduated from her high school class from Milan. Luciana also studied nautical engineering at the time. Luciana started out as a fashion model after just two years. Her professional career took a turn afterward, as by luck, she was offered her first acting role in Three Coins in the Fountain. Brett Halsey, an actor himself, was her very first wife. They got married in 1960 and made the movie Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana and Charles had a son who was named Charles 13 June 1961. However, the couple separated a year following the birth of their son. Luciana then gained custody. Between 1962 and 1970 Luciana had a relationship with Tony Athony who was, an actor and producer. Tony was greatly influenced by her performance in the movie Green Slime and based on the script he wrote as well as the mixed Spaghetti Western for which he gained some recognition.
